  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 0 CommentsPosted by on January 23, 2012 under Featured, PC, PS3, Reviews, Wii, Xbox 360 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Artworks und Konzeptzeichnungen
On the surface, this Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is similar to its predecessors. If a casual fan sat down for a few rounds of team deathmatch or domination, it would be easy to forgive them for mistaking this for a map pack. Its visuals are familiar, most of the weapons are recycled from previous games, the tight gunplay feels similar, maps are still fairly cramped affairs for the most part, ... more.

It has been eons since I've played a new Sonic game that was truly enjoyable. Many Sonic fans older than 8 will agree with me when I say that the last true Sonic game was Sonic Adventure 2 for the Dreamcast/Gamecube. However, it seems as if Sonic has redeemed himself with 2 steps in the right direction. The first step being Sonic Colors and the second being Sonic Generations – a dream come... more.
  • Bzilla’s Review of Mass Effect 2 1 CommentsPosted by on October 27, 2011 under PC, PS3, Xbox 360 Mass-Effect-2-940
Mass Effect 2 is a brilliant, fun, addictive game. How can I make such claims? Well here’s my review of Mass Effect 2. Let’s start off with the most important thing: Gameplay. The third-Person shooting part of the game just contains the action, which is fun and addictive but Mass Effect 2 really shines with its RPG elements. Whatever you say affects the course of the game with its Para... more.
  • L.A. Noire Review 0 CommentsPosted by on July 27, 2011 under Featured, PC, PS3, Reviews, Xbox 360 lanoire_pearls_940
Unlike other Rockstar games, you don't play as a criminal and you can't go around causing chaos and destruction. Instead, you play as a detective and spend most of the game searching for clues. You also question witnesses, which can be a real challenge as you must judge the trustworthiness of a witness' statement using clues and their facial expressions. After every question you get a response... more.
  • Darkest of Days Review 0 CommentsPosted by on June 15, 2011 under PC, Reviews, Xbox 360 Darkest_of_Days_cover
Playing Darkest of Days is like eating a Ham Sandwich, with Jelly and spicy peppers...you just shouldn't do it! I can easily say that Darkest of Days is one of the worst games I've ever played (the worst one sound like supamahn sixty-four). The Graphics look like a broken Nintendo 64 Game, that was beating up, thrown down the toilet, stepped on, and put in a bowl of soup. The Game starts off... more.
  • HomeFront Review 0 CommentsPosted by on March 16, 2011 under PC, PS3, Reviews, Xbox 360 homefront-145x204
Unlike many others in the shooter genre, you’ll probably want to play Homefront for the setting, not the shooting. Homefront tells the tale of a dark future in which the United States’ economy collapses due to a series of crises. Now the US is left as a shell of country and to make matters worse, a unified Korea (unified by the North) has launched an all-out attack on the American mainland. M... more.
  • Retro Review: Sonic R 0 CommentsPosted by on November 10, 2010 under PC, Retro Review, Saturn Resort Island
[caption id="attachment_138" align="alignleft" width="300" caption="Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Robotnik (Eggman) are all ready to burn some rubber!"][/caption] Sonic R is considered by some die hard Sonic fans to be one of the worst Sonic games ever, yet others see it as a fun and enjoyable racing game! I sit on the middle of the fence in this debate, so I'll give the pros and cons and le... more.
  • Canabalt Review 0 CommentsPosted by on July 2, 2010 under Mobile, PC cana_5-300x200
Is it me or does it seem like this world we live in today lacks new ideas, no scratch that, good ideas? Yes, many casual games are notorious for being the same old puzzle game rip-off, but thankfully there a few special games like “Canabalt” that choose to stand out from the crowd. It does not take place in a diner and it does not involve a cute little penguin golfing with Santa Claus... more.
  • X-Men Origins: Wolverine Review 0 CommentsPosted by on July 16, 2009 under Nintendo DS, PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Reviews, Wii, Xbox 360 x-men-origins-wolverine
Wolverine games have something of a bad history. With a few exceptions, no Wolverine game seems to properly capture the essence of what makes Wolverine so awesome. However, the new game for the movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine just may have what it takes, which is surprising considering the fact that it's a movie license game. Here are some reasons why I think this just might be the best Wolverine g... more.
  • NinjaBread Man Review 0 CommentsPosted by on under PC, PS2, Wii 250px-Ninjabread_Man
The sheer number of terrible games released every year is immense, but every so often there comes a game that really takes the cake. The year before last, it was Anubis II, a 3D platformer supposedly based on Egyptian mythology. Last year, it was a surprisingly popular (seeing as how terrible it was) 3D platformer titled NinjaBread Man. Surprisingly enough it was developed by the same people as An... more.
