Wolverine games have something of a bad history. With a few exceptions, no Wolverine game seems to properly capture the essence of what makes Wolverine so awesome. However, the new game for the movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine just may have what it takes, which is surprising considering the fact that it's a movie license game. Here are some reasons why I think this just might be the best Wolverine g... more. -
Review of Rock Band Unplugged for PSP

The third title in the Rock Band series is here; however, it's not out on consoles. In fact, it was built from the ground up for the Playstation Portable. In fact, even Rock Band veterans may have trouble figuring out Unplugged, because, quite frankly, it's gameplay shares more similarities with Harmonix's PS2 games Frequency and Amplitude than with Rock Band. This is made plain in the form of som... more. -

A while back at the E3 , LucasArts announced that Indiana Jones would make an appearance on next-gen systems. Though they have been taking their time to live up to that promise, for a while now they have been working on Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, which they plan to release on the Wii, PS2, DS, and PSP this June. The thing is, for game that is to be released so soon, there is very litt... more. -

Over the last three years EA has released an annual installment to their Tiger Woods PGA Tour series. For 2009 it's PGA Tour 10, and in this game EA intends to resolve many of the franchise's big recurring issues, namely the game's ability to determine the players' draw and fade they put into their shots. The game is also seeing an improvement in graphics and gameplay. I'll explain how. The vi... more. -

The result was a co-op focused game that was very well hatched. However, I think many gamers and critics alike have agreed that the majority of the time the game was very hit-and-miss in it's execution. For example, it's in... more.

What? Another "Need For Speed" game?. Electronics Arts has released a Need For Speed title annually for the last several years, and with the continuing lack of innovation, critics are starting to knock the series down to it's knees. It's just becoming increasingly apparent. The last time a major, critically acclaimed Need For Speed game was released, it was Need For Speed: Most Wanted in 2005. A... more. -

2D fighting games are a rarity on consoles these days, the most popular franchise of which probably being Guilty Gear. It's true that Super Smash Bros. Brawl comes to mind, but bear in mind that while Brawl's gameplay is in two dimensions, the graphics are not. And really, the same goes for Street Fighter 4. That's what makes the new game in development titled "BlazBlue" so unique these days. It's... more.
